Project Description: I plan to work with all different types of paper mache to see the different varieties of textures & weight. I will make figurative people and animals sculptures with brightly painted details. I want to make at a minimum 50 but plan to make even more.
Objective: To make more detailed sculptures and also the experiment with different methods of paper mach.
Materials: News Paper, glue, flour, water, wire, tape, acrylic paint
Time line: I plan to continue this for the rest of the year.

Project Description: My plan is to make 3 sewing pieces on canvas. I am still doing non-objective collage with these 3 pieces. With the sewing I am doing many different patterns over the canvas with different colored thread. I want to become a better sewer so doing this project will help me achieve that.
Objective: My objective is to become better at sewing so I can include this element into all my other art pieces to come. I like the idea of not using glue to hold things together. I feel that sewing things together adds to the process and it is very visually appealing.
Materials: Canvas, Acrylic paint, Needle and thread, Paper
Time line: I plan to finish these 3 pieces by February 20th

Project Description: I am continuing to work in collage just on a smaller scale. They are still non-objective abstract mixed media collages. I plan to make 15 small collages with Popsicle stick boarders around them.
Objective: My objective is still to learn how to have patients with art that has many layers. Since my last project I have become just a little bit more patient with them. I will not abandon these smaller collages like I did the larger ones. I found that the larger collages were hard to work on and not something I am ready to tackle yet. So, I’ll stick with smaller ones for now.
Materials: Newspaper, book pages, paint, fabric, barbies and fluff and other goodies I come across.
Time line: I plan to finish all 15 by January 15th.

Project Description: I am using two large pieces of cardboard ( 33×63′) to create awesome nonobjective abstract mixed media collages. I plan to work in layers of paint and newspaper and peal them back to expose there layers.
Objective: My objective is to learn how to have patients with creating something that has many layers. I am normally very used to doing my art pieces very quickly and would like to learn the art of patients. I also would love to become better at collage because it is something I am already highly interested in and would like to enhance my skills.
Materials: News paper, book pages, paint, fabric, barbies and fluff And other goodies I find in the trash or thrift store.
Time line: I plan on finishing these to pieces by January 3 .

Project Description: I plan to use 12×36′ pieces of cardboard to produce six large paintings vibrant in color.
Objective: My objective with these six paintings is to explore my own journey into painting and use of color. I am new to the painting world and I am curious to see how all sorts of shapes and colors can morph into one beautiful piece by the end.
Materials: Cardboard, Acrylic paint, Colored chalk
Time line: I plan to finish this project by Septemeber 26th.
